Holiday & Office Hours

The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, closed for lunch from noon to 12:30 pm.

The office will be closed on Statutory Holidays, as follows:

January - New Year's Day

February - BC Family Day

March/April - Good Friday & Easter Monday

May - Victoria Day

July - Canada Day

August - BC Day

September - Labour Day

October - Thanksgiving Day

November - Remembrance Day

December - Christmas Day & Boxing Day

In December, the office is usually closed between Christmas and New Years, with dates approved annually by the Trustees.

If an emergency shut-off is required during after-hours, weekends or holidays when the office is closed, please call 250-763-6506 and the On-Call Duty Operator will be contacted by GEID's Emergency Call Centre.  After-hour call-out rates according to bylaw apply, at $150.00 per call-out.
