After Hours Call-Out Fees

A $150.00 charge applies per site visit for District operations staff to respond to an After Hours Call-Out.  This includes Call-Outs outside the regularly scheduled operators' hours of 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Holidays during the remainder of 2012 include the following:

  • Good Friday, April 6th
  • Easter Monday, April 9th
  • Victoria Day, May 21st
  • Canada Day, office closed July 2nd
  • August Bank Holiday, Monday, August 6th
  • Labour Day, Monday, September 3rd
  • Thanksgiving, Monday, October 8th
  • Remembrance Day, office closed November 12th
  • Christmas Holidays, office closed December 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 31st, Jan 1st

Emergency Calls during holidays, weekends and after- hours, are received by GEID's Call centre and the duty operator is paged to respond to such emergencies.  Non-emergency calls concerning billings, water quality and other questions should be addressed to the office during office hours.
