Property (Irrigation) Rates and Other Rates (2012)

Annual property (irrigation) taxes are charged on the amount of land eligible to receive water.  The classifications are as follows:

A grade       $82.80/acre     Chlorinated water and/or well water delivered under pressure to property line.  Billed annually.                         

A-1 grade    $69.50/acre    Chlorinated water delivered with no guarantee of minimum pressure to property line.  Billed annually.              

A-2 grade     $65.00/acre   Non-chlorinated water delivered with no guarantee of pressure to property line.  Billed annually                    

C-1 grade    $42.72            Chlorinated water and/or well water delivered under pressure to properties less than 1/3 ac.  Billed annually.

C-2 grade    $50.76            Chlorinated water and/or well water delivered under pressure to properties between 1/3 & 1 ac.  Billed annually.

S-1 grade    $211.30/acre  Chlorinated water and /or well water to strata complexes where GEID owns/operates the internal water system.  Billed annually 

Other Rates

Commercial Irrigation            $86.25/acre     Chlorinated water and/or well water delivered under pressure to golf courses and cemetaries.  Billed annually.

Academic Tolls                         $6.90/acre      Chlorinated water delivered under pressure to academic institutions.  This charge is billed monthly with the institution's metered water bills

Dormitory/Congregate Care  $4.00/bed       Bed unit fee for dormitory and congregate care facilities.  This charge is billed monthly with the institution's metered water bills.
